I spent several years learning the acting biz, taking classes mostly at ACT (American Conservatory Theatre) in San Francisco.  That came to an end because I didn't want to move to LA.  My 10 seconds of fame was on Nash Bridges in 1998.  Don Johnson was drunk and a jerk, but Cheech Marin was very cool and we joked around a lot.

The irony of my "acting career" was that because of my age and look, I was told most of my parts would be playing a mom.  Imagine me on set with kids all day!  Aaaahhh!

My biggest problem getting parts was that there are millions of women in the "18-40" category,  and not much work.  I'll try again when I'm old and wrinkled... apparently there's a lack of older actors.

Acting was exhilarating though, and most of what you think about actors and how they work is probably wrong.
